50 days. Add sparkle to the vegetable garden. This unique hybrid has many improved qualities. Fruits begin to appear 2 months after sowing and are produced non-stop through summer. Spineless, bushy plants make harvesting easy and painless. 'Sunstripe' has delicious flavor enhanced by the beautiful color and tender texture. Small fruits are wonderful as baby squash, or pick at any size from these prolific plants. Use fresh in salads, add to kebabs, or your favorite summer squash recipe!

Seed Spacing:
2 seeds per mound

Mound Spacing:
3' - 4'

When several leaves, thin to 1 plant per mound.

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks after average last frost, and when soil temperature is above 60°F.

When to start inside: Not recommended except in very short growing seasons, 2 to 4 weeks before average last frost. Sow in paper or pulp pots that can be planted directly into the ground. Transplant when soil temperature is at least 60°F.

Harvesting: For optimum flavor and quality, harvest at 3" long for "baby" squash, and 6"-8" for all other uses. If allowed to grow 10"-12" or larger, the flesh can be used for breads, but the tough seeds must be discarded.
