Nasturtium flowers and leaves taste a bit peppery like watercress, adding a kick of flavor and color to salads. Attrracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Perennial in USDA zones 10 and warmer; usually grown as an annual. Fairly drought tolerant once established. Rabbit and deer deterrent.

Special germination instructions: Soak seed in water for 12 to 24 hours before sowing. Seed requires darkness to germinate; sow at the recommended depth of 1/2".
